A Charleston native with a lifelong knowledge and appreciation for the Lowcountry, Edward Scarborough brings a unique combination of local knowledge, professional experience, and personal dedication to his real estate career. Born and raised in Charleston, Edward has witnessed firsthand the city's remarkable growth and transformation while maintaining a deep appreciation for history, architecture, neighborhoods, and traditions that make it such an extraordinary place to call home.

A graduate of Porter-Gaud School in Charleston and Regent's College in London, England, Edward's background combines his Southern roots with an international perspective. Before joining Carolina One Real Estate, he spent eleven years in the retail industry in both Charleston and London, developing a strong foundation in customer service, relationship building, and attention to detail. Those experiences continue to influence his approach to real estate, where he believes that listening carefully, communicating openly, and putting his clients' interests first are essential to building lasting relationships.

Throughout his real estate career, Edward has earned a reputation for his professionalism, integrity, and commitment to providing personalized service. Whether working with first-time homebuyers, experienced investors, longtime homeowners, or families preparing to sell a cherished property, he understands that every client and every transaction is different. He takes particular pleasure in helping clients discover not only the right property, but also the neighborhood and lifestyle that best suit their needs.

Edward's commitment to Charleston extends well beyond real estate. A dedicated member of the Rotary Club of Charleston – Breakfast since 2013, he served as Club President for the 2025–2026 Rotary year and currently serves as Immediate Past President. His involvement reflects a longstanding belief in community service, civic engagement, and giving back to the city that has given him so much. His Rotary recognition includes the club's Rookie of the Year Award and being named a Paul Harris Fellow.

Outside of real estate, Edward enjoys history, sailing, boating, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. His enthusiasm for Charleston's rich heritage, waterfront lifestyle, and sense of community is something he enjoys sharing with both longtime residents and those discovering the Lowcountry for the first time.

For Edward, real estate is about more than buying and selling homes.
